My family was recently victimized by a terrible theft. My mother and sister had all of their jewelry taken. Much of it had sentimental value class rings, family heirlooms, etc. There were also a number of electronics taken, some with family photos. I also lost a number of things. I was saving up some money which is now gone and now it seems like a nightmare. But mostly I feel awful for my mother and sister. I have never felt more helpless and am doing what I can to help my family get through it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Hi I am hoping this could help me. I am a single mom of three, I lost my job and I am avidly looking for a new employment. I had a car but the mechanic told me I was better off junking it because my head gasket broke. I can and will show you my bills that are way past due.

I really need help and don’t know where else to turn. I am not just asking for money there are things my children want and need as well. I can provide clothing/shoe sizes as well.

I’ve lost my best friend, mentor and my heart. This person would be my mom, who passed away from cancer. The day she died, I felt a part of me die. Since my mom’s death, I’ve been in a serious rut. I’ve put my family in serious debt while trying to fill my void.

I know I am to blame for this and don’t know any other way to fix it.

Between myself being out of work for a month and my husband for 2 1/2 months, I have no where else to turn, and I don’t want my children to loose the only place they know home.

I never knew I had heart trouble until I needed SIX emergency coronary bypasses in one surgery! It happened last Halloween. My heart stopped four times, twice in the cath lab and twice in surgery. The huge medical bills forced me to apply for state assistance, which has paid a lot but not all, yet now I am in worse trouble. I can’t work with my heart condition, and still must pay for 7 of my 10 daily meds (no state help with those).

Now I will lose my assistance because I will qualify to get Social Security this fall. I will have to pay all my old and new doctors’ bills until I qualify for Medicare. That’s three more years away. All this has turned my life upside down and made it really hard even to just “get by.” I may have to discontinue the oxygen that I use at night and when I am short of breath, because the money just won’t be there after other bills are paid.

I was independent all my life. I am the adopted only child of an orphan. My parents are both dead, and my son is a security guard. I absolutely have no family in a position to help. It is hard to ask help from anyone, but I believe in “angels” who step in to help us when times are worst. My faith has saved me other times when things seemed hopeless. If anyone sees their way clear to help with a one-time or a small recurring donation, I will be grateful to them and to God for any amount at all!

Please, consider being my angel and making it possible for me to survive this terrible time.

I’ve been a SAHM for 8 years to 4 children. My controlling and verbally abusive husband filed for divorce and is attempting to get sole custody of our children by crushing me with legal fees including a $1750 social study that involves a full psych evaluation which is due by Jan 10th. To date, he has spent $40,000 in his attempt to get custody of our children. I have exhausted all my resources trying to pay my lawyers. I am looking for a job but being out of work for 8 years and in this economy it has been very difficult. I love my children. Please help me.

I am a single mom of two that recently has hit rock bottom and can not get out of this horriable situation that we are in. Nov. of 2011 I lost my job of 17 years with two weeks notice. I was previously told that the business was being left to me. But the owner of the business met someone that talked them into selling the business for the money instead. I took a job making commision and only was bringing home between 5$-15$ every couple days. It was barely enough to put gas in my car. So i couldnt pay rent in our home after 2 months …….we had no one to help us out at all, we went to churches, community action agencies, social services ect…….. NO ONE helped except F.I.S.H. – with a $50 donation towards rent. So, the landlord then filed for us to be evicted. We were evicted within two weeks of the notice which was devastateing to us because we had no where to take our belongings or our dog. We had a friend tell us we could stay with them for two weeks. I also just found out that I have some health issues that are life threatning if not taken care of properly…..But i need to get work and be able to provide a home for my two children. I have been a single mother for about 9 years and i have always provided everything for us three without help of any kind. I have always helped others in need . But , some just dont seem to remember ……Please help us to get back on our feet and be able to have a home again.

The past years with the RE market being what it is has nearly destroyed us. We have a small farm & land RE business that we built up from scratch and have worked hard at a an “honest, hands on”
business in order to build up our “real love”…our farm. This has worked well for us until the crash, we have cut back & doing all we can do with severely limited funds to keep our beloved family farm.

We went into RE in hopes of giving our farm dreams the “shot in the arm” to move forward with, raising pastured, humanely raised pigs, turkeys, chickens, cattle and a few gourmet birds we are raising for those who are able to spoiled themselves with such…

…now we have our pigs and we are scraping the bottom of the pot to keep them going until the next small commission comes in-we need to buy chicks & turkey pullets and feed them for several months.

Our farm endeavors include a UNWAVERING commitment to always give our livestock the most enjoyable, safe, respected life for their time here on earth… life has become nearly unbearable for us- as I write this we have a nearly empty cupboard and 84 dollars in our bank account which we need for gas for a showing of a property we hope to sell…

On top of our $1500/month mortgage on our farm we are in desperate need to keep our tractor and haying equipment (financed) we owe about $23,000) on that…we need a new modest barn to keep the pigs in as our old heifer barn is falling down … my husband can build that if we had the funds to buy the lumber. Our bigger barn does fine with housing a free- “in & out” as needed for our dwindled cattle herd.

We are so close to all we have worked hard to develop here– organic free range, grass fed HAPPY, cared for livestock.

We have always worked hard at our farm/land RE business creating a good relationship of honesty and down-to earth with all our costumers– BUT NOTHING is going anywhere the last 4 years as we find ourselves sinking all the time due to this awful economy..and our farm is in the balance too….

A little about our finances:

1) we owe about $175,000 @ 6.25 % int. (we were having trouble so bank would never refi at lower rate– not to mention it is a farm!)..(in spite of what some people think, borrowing for a small family farm is near impossible with unpredictable income & “farm-aid” is a joke- the money goes into the government programs geared almost totally to the dairy industry and even that is near worthless!- we know- as we assist small to mid-sized dairy farmers to get financing for the farms they try to buy)

2) we have the farm equipment loan ..about $23,000 that is crucial to our farm & future farm goals

3) we need immediate living/feed/chick purchase/barn repair money

Any amount would be so helpful…please. Please help us..we have no one else to turn to…giving up is not and never will be in our blood…….. we have and always will when able “give back” help us save the dream we have that also will benefit the way animals are raised for food and do more & more to banish horrible feed lots!

This is the first time in my life when I found myself in such a difficult situation, hence my desperate request.
I would like to ask you for some financial support.

I am a lone mother of 3 years old beautiful daughter. Very recently I had to run away from London to Hove in fear for my life as my ex boyfriend (who is also a biological father of my child) tortured me physically and emotionally. I obviously reported the case to the Mets but they were almost powerless…

I have not lost my faith in change and still believe I can start my life again.

Unfortunately, in order to settle down in Hove (i.e to find any accomodation, which is even more difficult for a parent with a small child) I had to overdraw my bank account and I am literally drowning in debts.

Thanks to so kind people I started working part time doing practically every domestic job as I do not want (and never have) abuse social system.

Here is the financial part. All that I need to recover from debts and go back on track is not much. All I am asking for is approx 5000GBP. I do not need to be spoilt, I just want my baby no to suffer from hunger and pay bills on time.

I have always believed in peoples kindness and unselfishness. I want to believe that all the kindness I would receive from you will come back to you multiplied.
