I have always been proud of the fact that I have always worked hard to pay for my education myself and to take care of my family including working several jobs to put my husband through school. I ended up going to work full-time after my husband was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and while I regretted not being able to be a stay at home Mom, I was proud that I was able to earn enough to keep our family afloat including supporting his Mother off and on due to her congestive heart failure. Now my husband is unable to work because of complications of his Multiple Sclerosis and Diabetes. He has been unable to work this past year. I am now 80k in debt between paying for medical bills, supporting his mother, and college for my children. I downsized our home and have never bought a new car because I have tried to live within our means. I can hardly sleep at night worrying about the debt. I make enough to just cover my bills but not enough to chip away at the debt which is increasing each month because of the compounded interest. I don’t qualify for a loan because the housing market has put me in a situation of now having no equity in my home. I am embarrassed and stressed. I was always the one who helped others and now it is ME who is in need! Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated and NOT taken for granted. I humbly thank you for your consideration or donation.
